Ideas for Fantasy Football Names Related to Seattle Seahawks

by ja on 7/26/2014 12:06:35 AM

With Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice on offense and Richard Sherman, Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor on defense, the Seattle Seahawks are a team built to compete with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West. For fantasy football players that either love or hate the team, there are numerous fantasy football names you can use to show what side you are on when it comes to Seattle. Here's a few with descriptions.

Beasting Through the NFC
Several years ago, the Seahawks pulled off an amazing upset in the NFC playoffs against the New Orleans Saints after Marshawn Lynch went "Beast Mode" on the Saints defense. The play stands out as one of the best in the history of the franchise and one of the most talked about plays in NFL history.

Wilson > RG3
Robert Griffin III and Wilson are two heavily talked about new comers to the league. They've both proven that they have incredible talent and one of them even has a ring. While RG3's health is a factor, Wilson is surrounded by players and looks to only get better.

Tatupu Platter
One of the best defensive players in the history of the franchise may not be with the team anymore but this is a team name that fans of the team can still continue to use.

Marshawn Stewart Sheets
Another Lynch-themed name is a spin-off of the Martha Stewart clothing collection. Marshawn Steward Sheets may not be the most creative name, but it will get some chuckles from opposing players.

Dread Pirate Sherman
If you ask Sherman, he'll tell you he is the best cornerbacks in the NFL and his dreads are almost as much of a staple of who he is as his talk is.

Head Chancellor
This team name is an easy spin-off of the talented safety and an upper position at a school.

Percy Whipped
One of the many additions to the Seahawks in the offseason was Percy Harvin and this name can be used by his new fans, as well as his old fans in Minnesota.

Golden Tate Bridge
Golden Tate is a talented receiver for the Seahawks (actually now it he plays for Detroit ... so maybe "Golden Tate Bridge to Nowhere"). Either way this name is an easy one to create using his name and the historic and infamous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Russell Okung is one of the most talented offensive linemen in the NFL and this is a team name that longtime fans of the Seahawks can use or is a name that some former offensive lineman can use when they play fantasy football this year.
