webhosting / internet fees, development and programmer compensation, and various others. Funding to keep the site going (and growing)

We do not have fixed prices for many of the services we offer. Instead you are encouraged to
pay what you think is both fair and within your means. Contributions can be made via PayPal or by sending
a donation via snail mail. Donations of all sizes are appreciated and you can donate as many times as you want.

Advertising revenue
We make use of ads on various pages throughout the site. Some of the ads
provide revenue just by being on the screen. The vast majority however provide revenue only when users
interact with them by clicking on and visiting the website of the advertiser. We are very pleased with
Google's Adsense offering in which most of the ads are targeted and relevant to the content. Hopefully you
will find some of them of interest as well. We make every effort to keep the ads as unintrusive and
family friendly as possible.
